Thank You, Embassy Suites!

For all you organizers out there, we have exciting news!  Thanks to a generous donation from Embassy Suites in Des Moines, Iowa, we now have a house cleaning cart!  The house staff is ecstatic to accept this gift—a gift that will definitely benefit the house and guests!
This past December 17, Steve Hopkins, a huge advocate for the charity, and other members of staff delivered Christmas goodies to the Ronald McDonald House.  After talking with the Ronald McDonald staff, Hopkins became aware that the house was in need of a cleaning cart.
Because of his job, Hopkins travels a lot between Des Moines and Sioux Falls and frequently stays at the Embassy Suites in Des Moines.  Hopkins spoke with assistant manager Jane Briggs of the Embassy Suites on one of his stays to see if he could find out more information on obtaining cleaning carts.  The next day, Hopkins had two cleaning carts that were donated by the Embassy Suites loaded in to the back of his pick-up—ready for delivery to the Ronald McDonald House!
The Ronald McDonald House would like to extend a huge thank you to the John Q. Hammons’ Embassy Suites in Des Moines, Iowa for donating the cleaning carts!  Also, a big thank you to Steve Hopkins for his awesome act of kindness in locating and delivering such a great gift!

but how much love we put in that action.”
